Students’ Week 2011-12 at Commecs College
Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony

On 17th December, 2011, the fourth day of the Students’ Week, a grand Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized by the Programme Committee of Commecs College for the outstanding performances of its students in academics and co-curricular activities. The Chief Guest on that occasion was Dr. Ishrat Hussain, Director IBA and Former Governor State Bank of Pakistan, whereas the Guest of Honour was Mr. Safdar Qazi, Member Managing Committee CIBES. Mr. Ahsan M Saleem, Chairman CIBES and Mr. Abdul Jabbar Qazi , Trustee Commecs Educational Trust, were also present on that occasion.

The Annual prizes were given in various categories, ranging from the Best Student performances in academic and co-curricular activities to the BIEK position holders. The guests appreciated the students’ remarkable achievements and their zeal for aiming higher in life. They also acknowledged the efforts of the institute towards encouraging its students by awarding them in such a manner.

In the end of the programme, college shields were presented to the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour by the Executive Director Mr. Muhammad Arif Dossal, Principal CIBES, Cdr. (Rtd) Abdul Razaq PN and Asst. Vice Principal Mr. Sohail Farooqi.
