CSA believes in vigorous participation of students in curricular and extra curricular activities, in an atmosphere which aims at promoting a total personality.

Seminar and other Academic Activities

Seminars are a vital part of informal co-curricular education. The CSA Seminar Society and CSA Literary Society shall promote this goal by holding seminars and group discussions. Scholars and prominent figures in business, industry and media will be invited. Business, commerce and economic problems & issues will be discussed side by side with the social, political issues and current affairs. The students in this way shall be exposed to the prominent figures and their views.

 

The literary society shall provide students an opportunity to articulate and express their thoughts orally in debates and discussions as well as in publications.

Publications

One of the objectives of institutions of higher professional education is to develop their students’ skills in effective communication in writing. CSA intends to regularly publish its magazines and newsletters, thus giving its students an opportunity to develop their talents in writing and to articulate their thought. We hope that our publications in English and Urdu will arouse interest in our students and will give them an opportunity in self expression.

Sports and Recreational Activities

Sports and related extra curricular activities are essential for the overall development of a balanced personality of students, and also for channelizing their physical and mental energy in positive directions. As for sports, CSA intends to have provision for Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess and Scrabble. We hope that our students, young and old, will avail the opportunities to give some time for these recreational activities.

 

We also intend to involve our students in activities like declamation contests, stage dramas, frequently held debates and discussions on issues serious and humorous, relating to present social conditions. We intend to improve and polish our students’ ability to express their views in English and Urdu.

 

Exhibitions depicting students’ talents in painting, flower arrangement and related skills shall also be arranged.
