ADMISSIONS
For Non-CIBEANS
Weightage of each stage
The weightage of each stage, the sum of which would be 100%, will be as follows:
For CIBEANS
Weightage of each stage:
1. For CIBEANS appearing in GCAT (i.e. with HSC grades 50% to 64%) the regular weightage applicable to non CIBEANS will apply. 2. For CIBEANS exempted from appearing in GCAT (i.e. with HSC grades 65% and above) the weightage applicable will be as follows:
SELECTION The final selection of a candidate depends on the combined rating of the above factors.
GRADUATE COMMECS APTITUTDE TEST (GCAT) Applicants are required to take the GCAT irrespective of their previous system of education, which provides a fair measure of 'candidates scholastic attainment as well as an insight into their potential. The test assess applicants skills in the following areas:
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION Candidates granted admissions are required to submit the following documents for registration and enrollment. Failing which admission will be cancelled.
1. Original Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and an Attested copy of SSC 2. Original Higher Secondary School certificate (HSC) and an Attested copy of HSC 3. 04 passport size photographs and one 1 photograph of 1”x1” size. 4. Equivalence Certificate for GCE “A” levels students 5. Original Migration Certificate (If HSC from other Board) and an Attested copy of Migration Certificate |

Eligibility |
Atleast 50% marks in HSC / “A” Level (3 principal subjects) or equivalent examinations are eligible to apply for admission. |

Age limit |
Age limit for admission to BBA shall be 20 years. (Candidates whose age is less than 18 years must submit B form)
Age limit will be relaxed for a further 1 year in case of the candidate being a Hafiz-e-Quran (candidate will be required to show certificate of Hifz (sanad) |

Equivalence |
Candidates of foreign boards will be required to produce an Equivalence certificate. However, there will be no downgrading of their grades on the basis of equivalence. |

Aptitude test |
Eligible students shall be required to pass the GCAT (Graduate Commecs Aptitude Test) |
|
Interview |
On passing the aptitude test the candidate will appear for an interview before a Board and would then take part in group discussion. |
|
Group Discussions |
Group discussion will assess student’s confidence and ability to think fast and coherently. |

Aptitude Test Eligible CIBEANS |
Other conditions remaining the same, eligible CIBEANS shall be Exempted from appearing in the GCAT (Graduate Commecs Aptitude Test) if they have achieved grades of 65% and above in their HSC examinations.
However, CIBEANS who have achieved grades between 50% to 64% will have to clear the GCAT. |
